Framing the Wild

Photography tour

IMPORTANT NOTE

All photography takes place outside enclosures, with no flash permitted.
Animal welfare always comes first, and access is at the keeper’s discretion

Ready to take your wildlife photography to the next level? The Framing the Wild Tour is a half-day adventure that takes you behind the scenes for unbeatable photo ops with some of the sanctuary’s most captivating residents.

Join animal photographer Nathan Ryan as you dive into the art of capturing animals in their element, while picking up expert tips to make your camera truly roar.

Please note: This is not a guided photography workshop, and formal tuition is not included. However, Zambi’s in-house photographer will be on hand throughout the tour to chat, answer questions and share helpful tips along the way.

Take a break with morning tea, where you’ll have the chance to review your shots, swap stories, and get inspired before heading back out to discover new angles and hidden gems.

Spaces are limited, don’t miss your chance to get closer, shoot smarter, and see the wild like never before!

This exclusive tour offers rare, up-close moments with some of our most beloved animals, whether it’s during feeding time or while they’re enjoying playful enrichment activities.

Join us for an unforgettable experience on the last Sunday of every month! (Autumn and Winter only)

Tours run from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, with limited spots available. Maximum of 8 people!
